What Does The Program Entail
  • A structured 18-week program designed for graduate and postgraduate students to explore, design, and pilot innovative solutions to real-world development challenges. Fellows are placed within one of the three Labs which are Enterprise Development, Policy Enhancement, or Civic Advancement.
  • An educational masterclass series delivers practical sessions and expert-led discussions centered on the Lab’s core pillars such as Innovation, Collaboration, and Sustainability.
Fellows Tasks
  • Analyze a real-world development problem within their assigned Lab (Enterprise, Policy, or Civic), and support Lab Supervisors in shaping the project direction.
  • Conduct structured research activities, including desk research, stakeholder interviews, surveys, and limited field assessments as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Support solution design using professional tools, such as design thinking, theory of change, feasibility analysis, and basic monitoring & evaluation planning.
  • Assist in developing prototypes or policy models, help test ideas through pilot activities, collect feedback, and refine solutions alongside the Supervisor.
  • Contribute to project implementation planning, including drafting roadmaps, timelines, measurable impact indicators, risk mapping, and sustainability outlooks.
  • Work in collaboration with partner organizations, helping coordinate communication, meetings, documentation, and engagement with NGOs, universities, private sector partners, and policymakers.
  • Actively participate in Masterclasses, Learning Labs, and mentorship sessions, and apply the learning directly to Lab projects and internal assignments.
  • Prepare and deliver professional outputs, including final project portfolios, presentations, policy briefs, business decks, pilot frameworks, and supporting reports.
  • Fulfill organizational/intern-style responsibilities, including documentation, communication assistance, event support, coordination tasks, and administrative contributions as required by the Lab Supervisor.
  • Maintain consistent reporting discipline, share weekly updates, attend review meetings, and support smooth functioning of Lab operations.
